IAP | Sankalp Sampoorna Swasthya

I, Harshal Pandya Joined as a trainer of Sankalp Sampoorna Swasthya last year. As the old saying goes " Practice what you preach" , I felt my moral duty to incorporate all the learning in my life before teaching it to students. I started it and the results were beyond my imagination, Within 6 months, my weight reduced by 7 kgs to normal BMI criteria, my consumption of ultra processed foods dropped by more than 80-85%, my energy improved, my sleep quality became better and I was able to be more productive in my work-life. I was able to improve lifestyle not just for myself but for my family members also. I believe the content of the workshop should be incorporated in school syllabus. The knowledge is most common yet most neglected when it comes to put it in action. The content of this workshop is designed such that it gives us simple actionable steps and checklist to follow. Happy to be the part of SSS and hope it reaches to maximum people.

The programme of SSS structured by IAP is constructive & helpful to learn good practices to improvise their physical, mental as well as social health. It targets appropriate age group to bring awareness and develop practical skills about balanced diet, physical activities and many more domains in day to day life. Now we will lead to continue the programme. Activities which were conducted during the SSS workshops in our school were AWESOME. All the best, team SSS.

Congratulations to SSS team for their efforts. The program and workshop is really good. After attending the SSS workshop, almost all the students are able to analyse themselves before purchasing any soft drinks. They are able to check the content list. Our organisation always restricts junk food. Now we have taken another step to ensure that all the shops near our school should not sell the JUNCS foods. The shopkeepers have also agreed with our motivation and intention. Special thanks to our beloved Dr. Raghunath sir and his team for all their hard work and guidance.

I congratulate the Team that has developed the SSS program. It is the need of an hour. All the components are very important for the child’s I wish this program becomes a national agenda. Soon after the trainers of SSS left our school, many kids asked the teachers, “Today we did not bring tiffin box, and instead, our parents gave us money to eat anything we want. Now what should we do?” The teachers suggested that rather than buying packaged snacks like chips, you should prefer ground nuts, chana, or fruits like banana, apple etc. " and that type of healthy food is easily available near the school,. The kids happily followed the suggestions given by our teachers.

The session taken by Dr Deepak Pandey of sankalp sampoorna swasthya was very interactive and fruitful. The knowledge and awareness as regards how the pattern and quality of food intake can affect one's health is must among todays generation where everything is available in ready to cook packets. However, it is prime responsibility of mothers to pass on good and helathy food habits to their children. Thank you team SSS.

SSS is a great initiative by the AOP Vadodara where all the AOPV Members are making great efforts for the young school children to have a healthy body, cheerful mind, a proper diet with positive attitude. It was a very interactive workshop which will help the students in shaping the right personality. The school will make efforts to make the healthy life style a HABIT of the children. अग्रसेन विद्यालय, विक्रोली पार्क साइट में शनिवार 2 दिसंबर 2023 को संकल्प संपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य का कार्यक्रम किया गया था। 21 दिसंबर 2023 को उस स्कूल में जाकर वहां के चपरासी से हमने पूछा हमारे कार्यक्रम से बच्चों के ऊपर कुछ फर्क पड़ा है क्या? तो जवाब मिला। बाहर के पैकेट वाले फूड अधिकतर बंद हो गए हैं और बच्चों को जो वह खाना देते थे वह खाना पहले बहुत बच जाता था अब खाना बचता नहीं है बच्चे खाने पर अधिक जोर दे रहे हैं।

It's a great initiative of IAP to sensitise students on such issues as intake of junk food, screen time, addiction, and mental and physical well-being. It's very important to make children aware of these things at the right age so that disadvantages can be controlled. Children will be conscious and thoughtful before consuming packed food, handling electronic gadgets, and having positive attitudes in challenging situations.The workshop was interactive, and the children also enjoyed physical exercises. This will definitely help to create healthy and happy generations. I am looking forward to more such innovative sessions for students and parents.

I conducted a SSS workshop for teachers & jr class students at Cantt junior school Sadar bazar Agra cantt.
Very good experience, all appropriated this useful, informative & interesting SSS workshop.
I appeal all IAPians to come forward for carry forward this v good initiative of IAP for preventing NCD's
